It's my understanding Ger is living in Newbridge but I may be wrong......

55 seconds for the good bit.. there's another video of the same incident where a gun was let off.
It looks like it was filmed underwater :)

I'd say Eamonn's "Mystical World" is more of the liquid world......

Does Waters think that writing a column for the Irish Times gives him the right to shout everyone else down?

I can't understand why people are swallowing that "We were threatened at gunpoint" claptrap.

I wonder how many people will donate money to that girl in Peru?

I'm not sure they would get the figures they would like.......

Ger is very wooden, I'm surprised...he was much better last year. He sounds unprepared and throwing out topics willy nilly.....

How many times has Dunphy said ''I agree totally with John Waters''?
Is he trying for his own column in the Irish Times?

Maybe Eamonn is just in agreement with him, as John Waters is talking a bit of sense which is sadly lacking in a lot of our journalists. It's hard sometimes to have a different opinion than the masses as Lucinda Creighton found out as you are castigated for it.

What would you find hard to understand about people being threatened by drug barons.

Maybe I'm missing something here? When you enter an airport, aren't there lots of police around? And in South America, I imagine most of those police would be armed. Why did the two girls not go straight to the airport police and tell them that they're being forced to carry drugs in the bags? Why go all the way to the customs check? No criminal is going to risk a shoot-out with heavily-armed police in an airport terminal. Those two were leaving Peru, not entering it.
To me, the whole thing stinks to high heavens. But maybe that's just me.....
