wonder how Joe Stalin would have handled it?

Stalin would have had them all shot.. And so would I.. And I'm not joking about that..

I don't think the actual salary is a problem per se, it's more who its being paid to. Another case of awarding failure along with zero culpability.

Had my doubts about Brendan B for some time, (he always seems so flaky on carpetbaggers) but TG tonight's performance removed all possible doubt. How anyone could take him seriously after such a swine-scutter offload tonight is beyond my comprehension. The guy is seriously out of touch with the real world.

Burgess defending Boucher. Its not that long ago that he was the radical & rebellious shareholder ranting at the fat cats at agm's of the building societies:mad:.

    Hey Burgess,
    I've a good one for you askmebollix.com

Joe Higgins obviously doesn't know the first thing about banking. Nor about anything else!

Substitute 'Richie Boucher' for 'Joe Higgins' in this sentence and you'd be nearer the truth

Does anyone get the feeling they're watching Groundhog Day for the umpteenth time?

  • Registered Users Posts: 49,731 ✭✭✭✭coolhull

Vinnie is playing a stormer tonight

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,351 ✭✭✭✭Harry Angstrom

Vinnie pretends not to know what public service broadcasting is. It certainly ain't Tallafornia and Dublin Housewives, that's for sure

    Yes....oh yes

Is the Irish Times the ONLY newspaper in Ireland?

Peter Matthews on #vinb now saying he will vote against abortion bill if suicide clause is included.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,806 ✭✭✭take everything

I find it hard to believe Lucinda Creighton's stance is without serious political consideration. Bruton's article in the Indo was an interesting development.
Very poor performance from Peter Matthews on Marian Finucane on Sunday.

    Oh Matthews, Matthews, Matthews

I really didn't expect Matthews to be such a Catholic right winger.

Matthews lecturing Sinead now about how government works.

I knew FG were (or have large elements of) a conservative party but I'm surprised as to the extent they are on this topic. I wonder how much is pandering to their traditional core support.

    "haven't given that much thought..."
Don't think Matthews has given any of this much thought.

I'm a man. I don't think I have the right to have a say in whether all the women in Ireland can or cannot have an abortion. The more I listen to the debates on this issue the more confused I become.

I think Matthews is the only one that can't be trusted.

Matthews should have stuck to Banking, he was better at messing that up ! (ex PD's, sigh)
