We need Colleran back. He reminds me of an old fashioned schoolteacher who'd give you a clip across the ear for giving backchat.

Is he capable of having control. He is a disaster as a presenter.

I wish Kieran Allen would stop shouting.

I wish Jim Power would feck off to Antarctica or somewhere else equally remote where we never have to hear from him again.

Sinéad Ryan, she writes about consumer/social affairs for the Herald.

For a female she hardly blinks at all. Very unusual.

Whatever happened to Enda's promise of appraising his ministers performance on a regular basis and letting Paddy know the result? :pac:

Sam being flippant. Just because Kieran Allen is a socialist, he's got to drop North Korea into the conversation

He wants to build crèches; presumably for children of people who are busy building other crèches. I smell a crèche-bubble.

I knew a quare one like that, to my regret, eyes are very important when judging the female.

Stay away from one with too much white in her eye as she's like a bad horse.

    I don't get this.
Surely all anyone debating with Jim Power has to say is "how's that soft landing working out for ya, Jim" (while sniggering like a schoolkid) and they've won already. :D

I'd be interested to hear what this thread's own Global Village representative thinks about this in particular...

    (actually no I wouldnt)

Ah Tayto, what have you started, the blinking thing is really bugging me now. I might have to talk to myself while looking in the mirror to assess if I blink a lot.

Ah MrsD, there is a flaw in your thinking. You can't see yourself blinking, (you're eyes are closed at the time).:D

There was a priest's housekeeper in Rathfarnham, back in the late sixties early seventies, the mussels in her eyelids did not work. When she walked the short distance to the village she used pieces of matches to prop her lids open. Is there anyone on this site from Rathfarnham, that could recall this. I do not mean to derail the thread.
