Yates sounded like a teacher there, and Orla sounded like a pupil who hadn't done her homework.

This is common enough, most people who make settlements with banks are bound by confidentially clauses, the banks don't want people to be sharing their experiences.

That's quite true, I know a guy that owned several dozen properties and the bank wiped his debt in exchange for the proceeds of the sale of the properties taking a huge loss in the process. The tough truth is that if you only own 1 house and owe money the banks will screw you but if you own many they have to play nice.

Yeah but it's not politically correct to say that in this country.. You're meant to say "is it right, that a bridge should be named after a woman"... You dont need to worry about whether it's right to do so... Political Correctness absolves you of having to think about such things..

    Insane money for Gareth Bale.
Earns more in a day than a lot of people in a year.

It's great to hear the new bridge is being named after Rosie Hackett, who worked under the scene, instead of someone that wrote lines that didn't make sense to most people except the elite.

You know what they say ....

If you owe the bank €100,000 that's your problem. If you owe the bank €10 million, that's the bank's problem.

It was that damn transer deadline that caused Boards to go apeshít earlier.

All the protestants over on the soccer forum overloading the site as the demise of Man United looks set to continue. :D

Island Bridge used to be called Sarah Bridge after the wife of the Lord Lieutenant when it was built.

The name was changed by the new Free State government in 1922.

    Feckin Chauvanists.

Or the Bridge of Sighs... named after Vincent :D

Or else the Bord Gais Energy Bridge.

That will never happen, the elite and that includes the staff in BGE and ESB will become piriah's in this country over their greed. They get wage increases when everyone else is getting cutbacks. Shame on you.
