Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

25 minutes in and not even 100 posts, just shows how irrelevant this game really is!

    Derbies are ALWAYS relevant.

Rooney should've seen red for that tackle.

You'd see them given alright, lucky he only caught a piece of Milners foot.

I'll give Giggs credit for his good performances against Madrid and others, but he isn't at the races tonight.

Good play from Young there, although could have picked a better option.

Just read on Twitter, with Giggs starting for United and Totti also starting for Roma tonight, you have:

    2 players
    2 clubs
    1183 League appearances

    That's fantastic, albeit random.

City are getting alot of joy in midfield but nothing happening for em when they get into the final third.

    Why is Rooney taking corners?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,526 ✭✭✭✭Darkglasses

Would like to see Dzeko on for the second half.

Stream cut just after he got booked. What was the second foul like?

United aren't winning, you don't need to say stuff like this yet.

And together they've pounded more holes than The Rolling Stones!

Ah niallo, you're getting people mixed up again. Just like the time you got yourself mixed up with a young blonde girl called Amy. Remember that?

Mike Dean is an awful ref :D

Typical Dean, if that was at the other end he'd have played on until the attack broke down.

What a bizarre time to blow up for HT by Dean there.

Oh let me guess, no-one is gonna criticise Mancini for going at the ref

It did happen at the Bernabau, but every non United fan applauded the ref :pac:

City out of ideas when the ball is near the box, need a change.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,907 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

Mike Dean endearing himself to folk as usual.

Good half from a City perspective, the game is there to be won if we want it. Surprised at the lively start and Nasri looked excellent for the first twenty while Silva has been buzzing throughout.

Yaya on the other hand is having one of those lazy nights we've seen all too often this season, if he steps up after the break it could be the difference. Tevez has led the line superbly, uses his body so well.

Having Kompany at the back is such a big difference, though it was a stupid tackle for the booking.

The ball went dead that time though. Refs always wait till the ball goes dead or until the attack breaks down, you must admit that.

The lad up front for United has 19 league goals, Torres is kinda like the "I can't believe it's not Van Persie" in that he can look like the real deal, but when you get closer, you notice it's just a shíte imitation.

All you need is "And if De Gea did that" for the trifecta ;)

Fully agree, but I think Dzeko is who we really need. He's bigger and stronger, and also he'll be the first to one of the balls that seems to be frequently dropping in the United box tonight.
