Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This isn't rugby. The ref can blow up when he wants.

Can't take much more of Macca and Drake. Like listening to two owl lads down in the pub.

It did happen at the Bernabau, but every non United fan applauded the ref :pac:

Well I'd rather not let my support for Utd get in the way of calling the right decision and opposition fans shouldn't let their dislike for Utd do the same.

Not a bad first half...City on top but that means nothing.

The ball went dead that time though. Refs always wait till the ball goes dead or until the attack breaks down, you must admit that.

It went dead for a corner though. You must admit that refs almost always give the corner in those situations too.

Sure it was a rubbish cross anyway.

Can't get over how poor Utd are with their passing game, City really bossing it. Really can't see Utd pulling it out of the bag if they concede first but I hope I'm proven wrong!

I saw a ref spontaneously combust once. It was terrific.

Ah niallo, you're getting people mixed up again. Just like the time you got yourself mixed up with a young blonde girl called Amy. Remember that?

I hate when I think I'm a hot blonde called Amy and then remember I'm not.

Not going too badly at the moment We're controlling the game, but we need to get some support on for Carlos. Kun on for Nasri, who's been ineffectual so far.

I'd say Ian Darke and Steve McManaman are total outcasts in commentary circles. I can see it now, a big commentary knees up with Motty, Brooking, Champion et al (maybe even Lawro who is allowed in the gang cos the others can get him to do stupid stuff for a laugh like setting fire to himself and asking for stupid things in the shop) -

    - but those two are complete outsiders - ignored by all and sundry and all they do all day is scheme against the other commentators but fail badly in the execution of said schemes.

Bit disappointed with DDG there, unlucky with the deflection but one I'd expect him to keep out.

Of course when that happens to united it's fine.

If it had happened to United, the O`s would have been complaining about the players surrounding the referee.

Imagine if that back heel was from a certain Portuguese winger. The fallout would cause the internet to explode!

He did the best he could ball was deflected and really should have been called offside as Tevez was interfering with play in the keepers eye line of the ball
