    can we have an option to limit the number of threads which are visable in the forum, in the same way that we can decide if there are 5 10 or 20 posts for each thread?

    Id prefer an option so that instead of looking at a wall of threads in a forum, we can decide how many threads [say 5 10 20] are displayed on each page?

    or am I missing something and this option is already in the control panel somewhere?

    You cannot modify the number of threads visible on a page in a forum, it is fixed for everybody. You can cut off the number of threads displayed in a forum by age if you go to your Control Panel -> Edit Options page and look for the option titled 'Default Thread Age Cut Off'. This will reduce the number of pages available to you only.

    thought so, but what about making this an option then which is what I was requesting
