Slipstream thunderbird?

Is it possible to set up thunderbird with settings and account details and then turn it into an install package so I could give that install package to someone else and they could install thunderbird with the email accounts built in already.

I don't know if it would suit your purpose but you could backup the profile using MozBackup http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/ and give them the program and the backup. It is easy to use.

Setup the portable version with their account settings and zip it. If they don't know how to unzip, make it an SFX.
