A 25 unit estate adjacent to the cemetery and Moneenagisha cross has come to the market. I never realised that the whole lot was owned by one entity. I presume all the properties have been rentals from day one. Anyone know who owns it, has it been Nama'ed? http://www.odonnjoyce.com/residential/brochure/2435435

It was originally built and managed by the Cormican family. They also developed the commercial and residential site in Westside opposite Dunnes Stores (Domino's Pizza, Subway, In Kitchens etc ).

Mu mate is an electrician who worked for them and he says that they always insisted on quality and they always paid on time.

Doesn't look like it's been NAMAed as it's not on their lists (http://www.nama.ie/about-our-work/properties-enforced/properties-subject-to-enforcement-action/).

From the planning permissions on the council website, Cormicans were the builders involved.

Yes, Cormican's built and subsequently let it.

Is the haunted house part of that development?

The tenants appear to be paying their rent into a receiver account.

O'DonnJoyce are/were refurbishing the estate and letting each one out as they finished them.

Have viewed a few of the houses. Seem decently built and insulated (for a development).

There are plenty of banks that are outside NAMA. If it's true that a receiver has taken over the property and the loan was with anyone but AIB, Anglo, BOI, EBS, IL&P & INBS, then the receiver would have nothing to do with NAMA and the property would not appear in the NAMA list.

The same Cormicans involved in the failed Clarinbridge Court Hotel and Redington Woods developement the hotel is built on??

I'd say that they would have received a nice property tax bill there if they were owners of the entire development!! Are they selling all the houses as one bundle?

Look at the picture in the OP - pretty clearly shows its not.

    It was sold for €2.1m

    Four beds rent €950pm
    Three beds rent €900pm

Good deal for the buyer methinks
