Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can't say anything bad about either of them. They're both very nice shots.

Both shots are nicely executed and processed. You got your exposures pretty much bang on with a nice range of tones from the darkest blacks to the highlights without blowing them.

I prefer the top one as it's well balanced and is a good record shot of the church. The second one though seems a little unbalanced for my liking. I think a tighter crop might improve the shot. I would lose some of the dead space on the left and crop into the first bright tree. I'd also crop upwards and lose some of the water which then puts the castle on the dreaded ROT but gives a little more balance to the composition.

    My 2c worth.

second one - the first one is just a shot of a church, however well technically executed the exposure is. it doesn't hold any interest.

Beautiful shots but they appear ever so slightly over processed to me. There are some very sharp, very white parts which seem to pierce through the images a bit.

The second image should be rotated about 1 degree clockwise in my opinion. There's also some noisy artifacts in the lighter area over the castle in the second image.

    Still gorgeous photos.

I agree with magicbastarder above, that the second one is more interesting.
