Just wondering, a friend of mine has been offered a Diana 25 .177 cal air rifle supposedly 1976 for €300 would this be worth it or?

Unless some knows better, I check this link http://www.mullocksauctions.co.uk/lot-3425-diana_mod_25__177_air_rifle__-_fully.html

There where two air rifles in my early life as a kid and one distintly looks like the Diana 25. Both guns where .17 but only one rifled both dated back to the good old days before the need for an FAC on them. Both where bought by either my father or uncles. There's no way they cost much, so unless there's nostolga attached or a brand new super dupper version of it tread carefully.

It definitely wouldn't be a bad rifle but not for €300 at that age by my reckoning.

Slug gun would be a good man to ask about this sort of thing - he'll likely be along shortly. ;)
