    I think we've actually played quite well. Ade has been decent, his problem is that his support player is Dempsey who doesn't have any real passing or play-making skills. I'm obviously not going to knock him seeing as he scored two goals, but he's such a limited player. It's all about getting to penalties now though.

    I actually think the lad went down very very easily for Vertonghens sending off. Seen it 4 times now and yet to see much contact at all.

    Yeah, you cant tackle from behind like that though, no attempt to get the ball at all

    Still straight red worthy when there's very very little contact.. Small bit harsh but it being Europe was always gonna be a red.

    Are Basel that good or is our defence in ribbons or wot.

    Other than that I've been impressed with our efforts and attitude even if the application hasn't been 100%.

    At least we know we can play without Bale, Lennon & Defoe if needs be.

    I don't think weve been that good tonight at all. the 2 goals we got were down to poor basel defending. we haven't created anything else and our defence is all over the place. so we defo need the above mentioned 3!

    yeah the effort and attitude has been good and since weve gone down to ten the defence has done well. But up to that point it was very disappointing and as someone else posted we were making basel look like a European powerhouse
