i remember me communion very well , and i didnt go around in the suit after it cept for funerals !
I had a nice Aran cardigan knitted for me. I loved it until I grew out of it.
The woman who knitted it clearly did so out of love, something I did not appreciate until later in life. I'll pass it on to the next generation.

    The apology is utterly hollow.

The women are not getting what they really need.

Why did they accept the apology then?

Everyone I saw interviewed after it was issued seemed delighted with it.

There were tears of joy on the day if I recall correctly.

3rd day about a museum that's not closing

We're getting how the museum that isn't closing started off and all the wonderful stories on how this magnificent, great, well done well done man, so to speak, fought hard to get it open.

My understanding always was that the ESB was made restore those houses as a slap on the wrist for wrecking the longest Georgian streetscape in Europe..... not a good deed from the goodness of their corporate heart as this man is making out.

But maybe tht was just an urban myth.....

What good is an apology if you dont get the compensation you deserve?

The owners would probably be only too happy to give the Museum as a gift to the rate payers of Dublin.

Even this great cup of tae and frozen Moro while looking out at the pissing rain is not making this segment any more bearable.

I've just switched off the hair dryer.

Have I entered a parallel universe where I've gone back in time to yesterday?

Country borrowing at 6/7% interest to pay for little Margaret Therese Josephine Francis Connors to arrive at the church in her own little space shuttle.. Really is ridiculous..

Worked in the ESB for 40 years, I bet he only thinks it's appalling because he's not getting his million euro redundancy. Advanced industrial relations ? Yeah, because they're all extremely well paid. (Not that I have anything against the ESB guys, they're a profitable company).

Never trust anyone who says they went to "great lengths to ensure" anything.

He's either looking for votes or trying to cover his ass.
