A profit making private company making redundancies, and a loss making public sector company out on strike... It's about time the Government took a private sector attitude to the way they run things.

I'd say Mary in Cork who is still trying to pay off her fitted kitchen and whose husband lost his job in Pfizer will take up the first 20 mins or so.

I had hoped the strike would last a bit longer so the government could wander in and go "Well boners, originally there was 5M in cuts to be made, but having been on strike for 5 days at a cost of 200,000 a day, there is now another million in savings needed. Want to go for round 2?"

Maybe the council should first look in to all the residential waste that they signed off on themselves... the ghost estates...

If the husband got away with some of the Pfizer product, Mary could be happy enough for a while.:D
