    This negative equity thing drives me crazy. It's only an issue if you want to sell your house. It doesn't affect your day to day ability to pay your mortague.

    My parents bought their house for £39,000 in 1990, it was valued at €420,000 in 2005 and revenue have valued it at €150,000 now. Who cares what it was worth 5, 10, or 20 years ago. It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it TODAY!
