If you want to be truly pedantic Joe, there are still slums in Washington DC.

And in Dublin today. But it's easier to criticise how people were nasty to the poor in the past (while sneering at or ignoring them in the present)

Its almost as if Joe is playing chicken with he's employers. Just how **** can he make the show before they sack him. There can be no other reason!

No doubt Duffy will have a discussion about the topic of model trains tomorrow "in relation to a call we got earlier"... That convenient caller that always happens to ring the show at half one in relation to Joe's pet topics...

That was up there with the most painful hours of my life, one of the callers summed it up perfectly -
I can't believe yis are actually speaking about it.

You aren't the only one love

Maybe the clue lies in the name "godfather".

    "Because it's LAWWWWWW"

Was she spitting on the ground, walking through the saloon doors, as she said this?

Seems to be up to each parish or priest. I am godmother to my nephew, no godfathers, just me and his other auntie who wasn't even at the ceremony.
And I'm not Catholic, that wasn't an issue either. So much for it being "law"
