    Oh here we go again..

"Myself and my workn class brethren tried to save Ireland, but we were prevented from doing so.. "

I dont remember him downing tools on his six figure job, and joining his socialist pals on the street calling for the truth.. He kept his mouth shut like a good like boy.

Joe getting angry with her now.

He's biting at the bit trying to tie in how he was dragged up in front of the D-G for causing a run on the banks back then. :)

This woman makes a valid point and Joe tears her down for it.. what's going on?

  • Registered Users Posts: 750 ✭✭✭Tisserand

The main thing for people to learn from this is: Never trust ANYBODY else with your money

I have taken out whatever measly bit I had left in the bank. It's not under the mattress but even if it was it would be safer there than in the hands of the likes of the gits we heard on the tapes

You kind of feel sorry for Charlie.. He did a good job, he certainly took benefits he shouldnt have... But he took hard decisions, and handed the country off in pretty good nick...

Is it better that Lenihan and Cowan were decent men, but handed off an economic basket case.. ?

Jesus I'm asking some poignant questions today.. :D

we wouldn't be having this whole debate if a Politician hadn't nationalised the Bank, so it has nothing to do with bankers power.

If we have learned one thing from Anglo, it's not to interfere in the market. That includes people who are not paying their mortgage(s).
