    Who do you ring if you want to give out about Joe Duffy?

    Seriously, he either has the power to do something about Eileens plight or he doesn't. If he does, instead of queuing up people with more sob stories then he should get to it. If he doesn't have the power to do something, then Eileen should be talking to someone who can do something.

    There's truth in that.

    The more he drags it out, the more people are likely to become fatigued rather than angered by it.

    It was the same the weeks he covered suicide or CF. Very important topics but I got to the point where I hade to switch off in the end. Not because I was upset, but because I was simply fed up of the repetition after day 2.

    Ray D'Arcy has a feature on his radio show where if you are looking for something, they have a team of researchers that will try and help you, and its usually lightweight stuff. Joe could easily have something similar, where a researcher rings the HSE or whoever and bring this to their attention, reads out their statement etc. Instead he uses his researchers for finding more miserable people.

    I don't understand the Blackrock Clinic advertising their ER on national radio.

    I mean its not much use if you have a heart attack outside the hours of 9-6 Mon-Fri or live anything much more than a few miles from the place.

    I've only caught it a few times. Maybe next Funny Friday I'll listen to the podcast of Fix it Friday instead.
