I'm going to try that and see if it works.

Edit: Oh no! It works. He's here now spouting bollox. What do I do?

I know we have to talk about suicide and that anybody who feels suicidal should have someone to talk to but all this doom and gloom and suicide talk IMO just makes peoples problems worse. Joe should be promoting positivity, not this constant talk fo death - he's like the f..king grim reaper

Would that be the same Central Bank who were supposed to prevent a crash happening by controlling the lending policies of the banks?

yeah but some people are treating it like the famine in Ethopia in 1984 which it is not, we need to put perspective on the whole thing

It's a great idea Joe.. Everybody forgo their debts .. Then the banks say to the Government "oh the situation of mortgage defaults was worse than we predicted" and the taxpayer gets to pay for other people's mortgages as well as their own.

Seemingly, he has a fear of white envelopes. I threw a few at him like ninja stars and he vanished in a puff of smoke.

Did she just say the majority of people in arrears were over 40? Some even in their 70s? These have to be situations of trade ups during the boom.

feel sorry for this guy - but it doesn't sound like he understands his mortgage?

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,141 ✭✭✭Yakuza

    That doesn't make sense - 11k interest over 6 months on a 107k loan - that's a massive interest rate...over 20%. Something's not right.
