I think I'd be running over a nosey-parker busybody that came out to stop me enjoying myself, if I wasn't making a mess or creating a nuisance.

    They have rubbish bins.

    Those clever 'mericans.

It's the people that cause and leave behind the big mess, not the dogs so I can't see what benefit of banning them for the summer months will bring.

Quite strange how none of the politicians have bothered to move on this bottle deposit system, it has been suggested all over the place in the last few months.

You should see some of the plastic shyte washed up on the southern beaches, though. If it was driftwood it would be grand for the fire, but plastic is manky stuff to burn.

Are the Seagulls linked to our Lizard overlords?

I used to live somewhere where bottles were redeemable. The problem with it in Ireland is that the deposit will probably so small so as to not be worth the recycling. Where I was, a bottle of beer was about 40 cent, and the deposit was about 5 cent. So picking up just 8 bottles could get you a bottle of beer, which is ok. Here the deposit will be 10c at the most, and you will have to pick up about 25 bottles to get one bottle of beer. It will be less attractive.

    cull the gulls

That's what sea gulls do mister, it's not that they've all of a sudden become carnivores.

If one of those seagulls attacked my duck they would be sleeping with the fishes

Iran has beautiful beaches, and litterers get shot. We should do that here Joe.

It's time that all the seagulls were rounded up and re-educated to behave like 'civilized' members of society. What do they think they are?.....wild birds?

It's been 'talked' about since it was abolished but this is a great country for talk and feck all else.

Schools have organised drives, I used to bring mine into the office to a drop off point and one of the parents used to bring them home to her kids.
