So that boring bit about her not being able to "click and collect" was completely irrelevant to the point of the story.

I rather pay extra and not have an angry mob of sash wearing, pitchfork wielding, Protestants chasing me down with street with my box of Panadol.

And Tesco are British company missus.

Who screw the shoppers in "The Sath" because...well, because we take it!

    What does this one want?

    More British stores?

ffs the ones that are here are robbing us blind, why would Asda or Waitrose make any difference.

If anything we should be encouraging Carrefour or Karstadt to set up here and offer real competition to the British (and local) multiples here

Is there a link with Autism and ear infections?

I'd say there is a niche in the market for someone to import drugs from Spain.

Can you get a prescription filled in Northern Ireland now? I tried a few years ago and they wouldn't do it.

    Not anymore.

Not after allowing a caller to plug Ryanair.

There'll be slaps for Damo when Joe gets back now.

Why don't they ask Boots in Ireland why they're charging 10 times the amount as their UK operation?

Easier to ring Damo I guess.

Pharmacies in shocking selling products at a profit scandal!!

Its actually not cheaper to get a Ryanair flight, flight prices depend on demand, availability and time of year. I hate when people pull stats out of their ar*es to suit the agenda.

  • Registered Users Posts: 21,886 ✭✭✭✭Roger_007

In the 'olden' times Nell McCafferty & co organised a train to go to Newry to buy condoms, (they were banned here don't ye know). Maybe a similar expedition could be organised to buy drugs!

And who's going to head off to Spain to visit the Pharmacy and then head staright back out to the airport?

(Well, barring some idiotic LL caller :D )
