So you're siding with the same group that the OKC Bomber belonged too?

Maybe you should ask the leader of the Montana Freeman, who came up with the term Freeman, how it worked out for him, these beliefs.

Oh wait, you can't. He died in federal prison.

Maybe ask the white supremacist that devolved the whole sovereign citizens thing? Oh you can't. He died in prison as well.

    But sure.

    These guys aren't nutters.

The next time you visit the US, make sure you tell the immigration guy that you think Freeman are A-OK.

Let us know how that works out.

    You're in the wrong thread.

This one is about the property tax.

Hope springs eternal but I don't think it has any place in that sentence.

Using auto type on my tablet. Fixed now though.

This one is about the property tax.

It started as a moan about RTE not supporting the anti side.

Am I the only one who thinks RTE are being one-sided in payment of this cursed PT? Mary Wilson, bless Her she sounded nice and fresh after her easter break, had a woman on the programme this evening talking as if everyone is paying this tax. Is everyone? I know I'm not, as I haven't got the money for one thing. But am I in the minority here?

Or are RTE trying to satisfy their paymasters by being one-sided with what they broadcast? I have yet to hear a programme where they pit a pro against an anti in a discussion on RTE radio ( which I listen to almost all the time).

PS: I will post a link for that interview mentioned above when they put it up on the net - I think they only put the podcasts up 24 hours after the broadcast.

But of course that was just an excuse to have another thread about property tax.

    It's not nonsense.

The cult Giltoy belongs too is the same one Timothy McVeigh belonged to.

Not scary at all. Not when you see what an Anonymous bigwig who terrorised other people on the net looks like without his mask. He's in jail now.

Getting back to RTE. I was watching the consumer show talk about the property tax. It was so scripted it was laughable.

Tell me Jim, alot of people are confused about this property tax. Do you have any tips for them ?

Well Sharon , the first thing is do not ignore the letter they sent you.

So the first thing we do is not to ignore this letter ?

    Thats right

But of course RTE is biased, they want the broadcasting tax to be implemented. Whilst other Irish stations are struggling.

No silly. It's not about me.

Sure, vote for a guy that thinks only green ink is legally binding and that he won't have to pay his mortgage if he puts a trademark symbol after his name.

    I won't though. And most people won't.

i hope that everyone one of these muppets that wont pay the tax be named and shamed publicly into a stone tablet to be left in the city center for generations to come to shame their offspring, utter fools of the highest order. they are gonna get their cash off you full stop, huffing and puffing isnt going to work, if labour arent their to support the socialist bottom feeders, who will? SF - ha

At the risk of a banning - I hope they ****ing do. I'd love my name to be set in stone, for generations of people and hopefully my children to see that there were some people with a ****ing backbone.

Maybe they will get their money, but they'll have to earn it.

Nobody is going to remember your compliance, you ****ing Quisling.

How do you see the 'policies' of DDI delivering this for you?

Well, if they ever did get into government, which is unlikely in the short term, the only way I can see any parties policies, not just DDI, delivering for us, not me, would be to start from the top, and rebuild the whole system (if by then there is anything worth salvageing), cause I am sure that you and everyone here will agree with, that even in the boom times, the give aways and the entitlememt culture of the top tier, just was'nt sustainable.

Ah sure people with million euro houses are employing people and therefore are not entitled to pay their way. Poor aul rich people. All they should have to pay is the brown envelope tax.

I assume you've never been to his website then. Informed voter are you?

Well, seen as you put it that way, I will check the website once more. I could have missed it the first 6 times. By the way, diya see the poll regarding resources on the left hand side of the site, don't ya find it ironic that nearly 10% of those polled, do not want the country's natural resorces to become the common heritage of the citizens? Now, that's something that I would find worrying. Would this not be something that should be red flagged, in your opinion?
Just as a matter of interest, and as far as I am aware, Ben Gilroy himself does'nt have a website of his own, (I'm open to correction) but DDI collectively have a website in operation.
