All joking aside that is who the government has elected to go. I was shocked when I read this in the Indo. I suppose it will be easy to pick his head out among the funeral cortege.

he could have some principal and say NO! might get a bit of respect then.

    Please clarify "herds of elephants".

Those herds are similar to those that trample all over McAllister's cozy sitting room... the idea that Adams had a 'conversion' from something bad to something good. He didn't, he achieved a society he and others (including Unionists and Loyalists) could live at peace in. He achieved this despite the likes of Thatcher and McAllister trying to shout NO at every turn.

What number is the song at now? Heard no.4 as of Wednesday night in the UK.

Up to number 3 now, but still well behind the likely number 1

Ding Dong!… has climbed one place since yesterday’s Official Charts sales flash was published. From an initial sales gap of 16,000 copies on Wednesday, the track has closed in on the Number 1 by 2,000 copies per day with two days of the chart week left to run, but is still currently 12,000 copies behind Need U (100%).
