Servers Down

College servers have been down over 24 hours now with no access to PC's, email or student drives - and yet still no official statement or apology from Computer Services... they could use social media or even this forum to update students and staff who are being severely affected by this!

That is crazy, SU are saying it could be Thursday afternoon before its up. I presume the attendance system is down also?

Apologies for the delay in getting information out to students but we did ask staff who could access their email to convey the message yesterday as student email is down. We informed SU first thing this morning once we had more information on the issue and sent a text to allstudent earlier on how to logon to PCs/Internet.

We will send an update to all students as per the text and once again apologies to all for this inconvenience.

Thanks Siblers for the update. As meant to post an update late last night.

Yes, Yesterday evening an email to allstaff was sent along with a text to allstudents informing all that work was continuing to resolve and restore availability to some key services and that is it expected that they would be back online by Monday morning.

An update will be sent on Monday morning or early as soon as services are back.

Once again apologies for the disruption and inconvenience this has caused but we are working to resolve and restore normal service as soon as it possible.
