Thanks for the info.. Will follow up. I read once that he never got the same hero worship that Wittmann got because he wasn't such an ardent Nazi. I think it was reported that he beat up an SS man quite badly when he found him mistreating a prisoner/civilian ? Its also rumoured that his tank tally outshone Michael Wittman's in reality. I hope that he gets a proper honourable burial.
