Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just wondering if anyone knows anything about add-ons for teaching? I have French and Spanish and I would like to add a non language subject?

lots of threads on this. Whatever subject you want, you need to complete a course which has a minimum of 54 ECTS credits before the subject will be recognised by the Teaching Council.

Maynooth do a course which qualifies you to teach religion (as far as I know), Its a one year course (not sure if its part time or full time though).

I did a H Dip on RE on top of my History and English degree to extend subjects. Not sure that I would recommend it though with the JC reforms RE will be downgraded in many schools. Also Ruari Quinn will probably push to remove RE from the curriculum in the future as he is chirping away about the amount of time given to it in primary school
