Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

i have bought a car in the uk of a registered dealer not a garage or main dealer
the car has been defective from day 1 , originally we thought it could be repaired but now it needs an engine
the problems started 1 day after i got it home
this car came with a full service history and mileage verified

he said he will not take it back but was prepared to contribute to repair
now that its deemed irreparable, is he obliged to take it back or repair it in full
the car did not come with a warranty so have i anything to go on ?

i've already spent €800 and been without this vehicle for 4 weeks trying to get a diagnosis of the problem

i'm sick to the pit of my stomach with this as it will cost at least another €1500 to repair

what is the legal situation in all this because i cant afford to take the hit

thanks in advance for any help

    one foolish fella
