VAT Registering..how long?

    Hi,

    Can anyone tell me how long it usually takes to get a VAT number, after sending in the TR1 form to revenue.

    I can't remember but I think it is done in about 1 or 2 day, plus a day or 2 to post the form to them and then a day or 2 to get the number posted back.

    Hi

    It depends as the revenue do consider carefully the issue of VAT numbers due to the high incidence of VAT fraud.
