Enable desktop?

Hi, changed BB provider recently, via DSL, so entry point is inside frontdoor. Previous BB was via Digiweb wireless so, entry point at back of house, where the desktop is. Previous BB was via Digiweb wireless so, entry point at back of house, where the desktop is. From that I had a router Zyxel NBG-417n, which worked the iPad.

With the new connection, I have a Technicolor TG582n, which now works the iPad.

Is it possible to get the new technicolor to talk to the old Zyxel, in order for me to use the desktop once more?

Running an extra long Ethernet cable is not really an option, around doors, floors etc. (could be done, but would look cr?p)

Now sorted, via a new Wireless USB Adaptor - €20 in Argos.
