Can you end up paying some costs in a "no win, no fee" case?

Can one be liable for costs in a no win no fees case? If you take on a company and lose despite having a no win no fees case- would you have to pay the other sides' costs?

Would you have to pay the other sides costs?

    Simple answer yes.

No foul no fee only means that in the event of not winning the case the plaintiff's solicitor/barrister will not be paid, of course doctors etc. will have to be paid for reports etc, the defendant if awarded costs will be entitled to seek same from the plaintiff.

The "No Win, No fee" applies to your costs only. If you lose, you could be fully liable for all the costs from the other side.

Plus it normally only applies to legal costs. There are many others costs associated with a legal case.

Not alone could you be liable for the other side's costs if you lose, they can ask the court at the outset to order you to stump up cash to show that you can cover their costs if it appears likely that you will lose i.e. if your case is clearly weak but not frivolous or vexatious enough to be thrown out before it even starts.

I'm not implying that your case is weak given that I know only the bare essentials you've chosen to share with us on the multiple threads you've created, just giving you a complete answer to the question.
