I need advice as to what I may or may not be entitled to.

I have worked full time for the same company for the past 10 years but I now need to leave this job as we are moving to a new house we are building on a site near my husbands parents, in the county where my husband grew up and it will mean my husband will be closer to his work and his elderly parents.

He would earn more than me, we have 2 children under the age of 2. I would like to get a part time job when we move but in the current climate this may not be so easy.

Will I be entitled to draw my stamps or what should I do ?

You can claim JB if you are available for and seeking work. Because you left voluntarily, you MAY be disqualifed for up to nine weeks but this depends on reasons for leaving job. Remember to apply from day one of unemployment and detail reasons for leaving work, It's not an automatic disqualification & it's up to the discretion of the deciding officer.
