Get them to bring you to casculty if you can, seriously just for peace of mind.

My brother plays rugby and during a match, both he and his friend went in to tackle the same guy. His friend jostled him and my brother ended up falling underneath the guy they were tackling and his arm being bent the wrong way. Cue agony.

Anyways, went to the people onsite who put it in a sling and gave him a doctor's note in case he needed to go to A&E.

Cue my mom a week later, bringing him there because the swelling never went down. X-rays showed a fracture in his ring finger so they casted him up, said come back in two weeks. Bro was delighted, no schoolwork etc etc.

2 weeks later, went back in, finger is now broken and two bones in his thumb are fractured. Derps never strapped his fingers so basically he broke/fractured them from moving them around like they told him to. It's gunna take weeks for them to heal now.

    /rant.

Main POINT- GET IT CHECKED OUT :D

I hate when people prove you right by reacting exactly at you thought. Cheers for that, making a really hard decision that much harder, tines like this I just need you to listen and help me not give out to me and keep turning it into an argument.

I'm set to start my last round of exams after four years in college. Never failed an exam before, but I'm getting a real sense of foreboding now that these exams won't fall my way at all. It's not a nice feeling at all :(

It's half three and I'm on the bus to Dublin. While my reasons for going to Dublin are, in a word, AMAZING, it's half three and I wanna sleep!

Why do I continue to assault my digestive system with this stuff when I know how crappy it makes me feel the next day?

The food I eat has nothing on a night of binge drinking. :(

Last exam is on antibiotics. I hate antibiotics, this stuff is horrific. I've spent my time as a microbiologist growing bacteria and genetically engineering them to be resistant to this crap. Now you want me to help kill them? Not cool. Can't we leave this stuff to the pharmacists? I've been lead to believe the like this kind of thing.

(Note my dislike of antibiotics is only due to concern over the welfare of bacteria, and has nothing to do with the fact that I hold a burning HATRED for chemistry)

There's a group that have been doing that in the little square in front of my apartment every day for the past three weeks. The just stand at four different spots and hit the bloody ball back and forth for HOURS. Literally 2-3 hours at a time.

All you hear is: Hurley hitting ball, hurley catching ball, hurley hitting ball, hurley hitting trees, with intermittent shouts every few minutes.

I would ask them to **** off, but I don't want to be that guy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,891 ✭✭✭iamanengine

So a microbiologist and a pharmacist walk into a bar..........ah I got nothing, but you can imagine the headlines the next day!

Alex Ferguson is retiring  :(

Those were literally the first words I heard today. Radio switched on as my alarm, top story on the news "Alex Ferguson has confirmed he's retiring."

I've never known United without him... all the speculation over his replacement is already growing tedious... How do Chelsea fans put up with this turmoil once a season every season!? :P

My dad texted me while I was in school today, all it said was "Fergie gone". I was almost in tears, still in shock:(

I have my first exam tomorrow and I literally do not give a ****.

Ha I was like that on Monday night, just couldn't put myself in exam mode.
The second the invigilator announced 'You may start now, you have 3 hours to complete your exam', it hit me then, and I was like 'Ohmygodohmygodohmygod EXAMS ****' lol
Pretty sure I passed though :P

Managed to fúck up tendons in my hand, and I have exams at the moment then a month's work placement in a very fancy place. Perfect timing as usual.

I also took a big risk by attempting to make a soufflé in my practical exam, and it went horribly wrong, I'm glad I tried to push myself and do something difficult but its still a bit annoying.

I've also been so busy trying to organise placement and stuff that I haven't had time to start studying for my written exams next week yet. Aggghhh stressssss.

My procrastination has gone into the crazy stuff now, spent about 10 minutes polishing an apple with my sleeve to see how shiny I could get it, very. Another 10 minutes was spent seeing would the sink overflow with the tap on full blast even with the overflow hole there, which it will.

Very productive day. Well Spent. Your findings have proven invaluable so that i do not have to try them at home. except for the apple. i like shiny apples

I've upset my girlfriend, I honestly feel really, really bad about it.
I don't know what I'm going to do.
    I hurt her,when I didn't mean to.
    I'm so,so sorry.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,776 ✭✭✭Jhcx

You upset her or you hurt her?

Upsetting her you have more or a likely chance of seeing it through, she'll prolly bounce back with revenge.
Hurting her you're more on the verge of breaking up.

I hurt my first Ex, that was 5 years ago. Be man* and own up to what you done wrong admit you're at fault and show you will go that extra step further to always repair the love between ye.

I now have new ways of procrastinating. Thank you Paly.

My own argh: I actually fear for tomorrow's PharmChem test. Just not enough to study for it.

Hence I will spend the rest of the day shining apples and eating blue bonbons.

I upset her (those were the words she used) but to be honest I think we might be on the verge of breaking up.
She's away at the moment and this all unfolded last night,we called briefly and then resorted to text with her telling me we'll talk about it when she gets back,on the Monday.
(It's long distance, she lives on the opposite side of Ireland to me)
Essentially I've a small chance of seeing her in person tomorrow, which I told her I might do before the fight, but it's wether I should or not that's the point.
Any advice would be appreciated guys :(.
