Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So Ryan Air been Ryan Air I want to make sure there's no funny business if I do this. 2 friends are flying over in May and long story short Im paying for their flights on my credit card.

What way does this work? Wont they be looking for my details at Gatwick?

The Ryan Air website is like looking at The Matrix

Post your credit card number and we'll see if you booked them in correctly.

They'll only be looking for the details of the people flying - that their names etc match the data entered at the time of booking..

How does someone not know this...

    Ssshh.

Op, they will need a retina scan and fingerprints. You'll have to fly over and escort them back.

Ryanair need a colonic imprint now for boarding flights. They also charge you 60 euro for the privilege.

Book the flights in their name.. pay with your card. you'll be emailed a code. when the time comes for them to check in online send them the code and they use that to print off their boarding passes..
    simples..

Also tell them to make sure to do the online check-in on time and print off their boarding passes. I believe it can be done from to weeks before the flight to 4 hours before the flight.

If they show up without the boarding passes printed off they'll face a £60 pound fine.

I booked flights recently on someone else's credit card(all above board ;) ), they don't look for the details.

It is the first option for verifying online getting your boarding pass but there are 2 other options below it so you dont need it.

You can book the flights but you might need the passport numbers of the people traveling. When they want to print out their boarding passes just send them the booking reference number.

    Serious hat on.

CHECK THE SPELLING OF THEIR NAMES!!

Ryanair are feckers for screwing you over if the names don't match the passport.
