3V cards - Can you add money to the same number?

One problem I have with 3V cards is that they charge you €2.50 to transfer money from one voucher to another, so you always end up losing money since you never use up the exact sum of money on the voucher by placing internet orders. I remember reading something about topping up the same voucher. Can you do that?
