xbmc remote not working for andriod

Hi,
i have a raspberry pi set up running xbmc
im able to control it using the official xbmc app on my iphone no problem
but cannot get it to run on my new andriod phone
its the htc one
i downloaded the official app from the google play store
put in exactly the same settings as the iphone but its not working
anyone any ideas?

Yatse also works fine for me.

Quick question though if its ok to ask. I treid to set it up with a password and that didn't work at all, couldn't figure out why.
I'm thinking of changing from OpenElec to Rasbian to use the pi for an ssh tunnell when using wifi out and about so would like to password any points of access.

Anyone get yatse working with a password?

Best app I've used on my phone. Looks great with full library support and now with upnp streaming.

Hi,

when I try to steam from my htc one. it comes up as if its buffering but goes no where. the timer flickers from 0.01 to 0.00
but when I do it from my iphone it works fine
any ideas?
