Xbox live down?

Error code 80004005. Looks like Xbl is down tonight. Only slightly annoying cause this is the first time in weeks that ive had a chance to play and probably won't get another chance for ages

Tried it at 8pm earlier and it was down for a good while. Was wondering if I was the only one.

Imagine if these always-online rumours turn out to be true, at times like this you couldn't even play a single player offlne game..madness.

was down for an hour max for me

Problems still there, My dashboard wont load at all.

Tells me im logged into xbox live and shows friends available but will not show dashboard.

Ive tried clearing the most recent update. Deleted my profile and downloading profile again but that seems to take an age. The update took about twenty minutes to download.

Beyond miffed off at this stage.

Well i would advise not logging out. Because if you do, you will defo not get back in.

The service is goosed at the moment and has been since 3PM EST yesterday.

Seemingly it doesnt effect people until they log out.

Signed in fine there. 16 friends online too, so it doesn't seem to be affecting them either. As I said, weird. Anybody else having trouble?
