Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Injury time goal in the first half. Bit of a scruffy volley but if you hit the target, you have a chance.

    And there it is.

Wigan were always going to win this one. Swansea have their deck chairs out.

God I love this end of the season.

Gary Caldwell is injured, Wigan must be in a bad spot to be playing half fit players.

I knew Wigan would rue that sitter that was missed to go 3-1 up. Says a lot that Swansea look deadly dangerous whenever they attack seeing as they haven't scored in their previous 3 before this game.

    Mental game.

    Fixed your post.

Ive said it a dozen times.....if Wigan had a proper back four.....with the team they have they would be comfortably mid-table.

  • Registered Users Posts: 200 ✭✭DM360

That should have been a penalty, Rangel leaned into the ball

You don't need to fix my post I know Gary Caldwell is sh1t:pac:. If the defense is the main problem with a team, that's down to the manager. His responsibility is to get the defense right first. Even poor to average players can be organised well defensively.

McCarthy covers some ground over the course of 90 minutes. He does be just everywhere.

    Excellent

@SwansOfficial: Itay Shechter gets his first goal for Swansea as his shit flys past Joel Robles and into the far corner. Good response from the visitors.

It took a bad deflection. Don't think the shot is going in otherwise.

Swansea should be down to 10 men.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,526 ✭✭✭✭Darkglasses

Absolutely desperate. Wigan to the deckchairs...Or something.

That is the goal you concede when you simply aren't very good.

That's it. Wigan down. They've huffed and they've puffed and they've come up tragically short. Woeful defending for Swansea's third, and they will now pay the price. Relegation looms.

Comical defending, wigan in deep ****e

Where will McCarthy be next season, has he been linked with anyone?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

McCarthy to Spurs or Arsenal, you saw it here first and every day (everywhere) from now on.

Newcastle fans celebrating. Horses are safe.

Think Wigan are gone if they don't get at least a point here. The point might do them, if Newcastle don't win any of their last 2, which isn't impossible.
