is anyone planning or managed to secure work as an rmo in Australia after intern year??

just wondering how difficult it is now due to the "medical student tsunami" as they are calling it on the Australian boards from the increase in Australian med school places.

ive read the travelling doc thread just wondering could anyone give any more recent insight?? thanks

Yeah, there's a lot more graduates here and it's getting more difficult to get a job in the bigger cities.

However, I'd still highly recommend trying your best to come here, or at least to get out of the Irish quagmire.

    Do both.

Expect to get a lot of city/urban hospitals saying no, you might have more luck in Perth, lot of people got jobs there last year.
