I mentioned in another thread recently about my intention to get a dual sim phone.
I think I've narrowed it down to two and was wondering which I should get?

    http://m.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_s_duos_s7562-4883.php

The acer would cost around €165 and the Samsung €200

First up I presumed the Samsung was better because it cost more and samsung are a well recognised phone company. But the Acer seems to get pretty good online reviews

Was hoping someone here who understands the different specs, etc might advise me as to which is a better option. Thanks

The Acer overall looks a better phone with ram and screen resolution being better than the Samsung, the camera on the Samsung would appear to be better but both battery life's are the same so the Acer looks like a good bet.

I guess what concerned me a bit is that I never heard of Acer in the phone market and I don't know anyone with an Acer to ask their experience

I would suggest you to go with Samsung from my experience because if you get any problem,it can be solved very early as there are many service centers.I never heard much about Acer phones.
