    Hi all,

Does nanyone know where to get a Silvia fized in Dublin? I've been quoted €65 per hour of repair which sounds expensive. I didn't purchase it in Dublin.

    Thanks.

What trouble are you having with it?

Coffee is only dribbling out of the puck, and sometimes not at all. I've adjusted th OPV valve but it hasn't made any difference. Possibly the pump?

Don't have a Silvia myself but that's a crazy price to pay. I'd try and do a DIY job by checking the usual forums (tonnes of info on the likes at Home Barista, Coffeegeek, etc). I assume you've cleaned the machine recently? Is probably something simple...

It might be obvious, but is your coffee ground too fine?
Or perhaps you are packing in to much.

    thanks for this.
no my coffee doesn't appear to be ground too fine. I haven't adjusted the grind texture and I pack in roughly the same amount as i've always done.

I'll have a read on that website in any case.

    cheers
