Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Obtaining a brand new/second PPSN

    Not sure if im asking about this in the right area or not but I was just wondering if anyone would know how to or is it even possible to obtain a brand new PPSN even though im a full Irish citizen living in ireland all my life and currently have a pps number anyways

    There are valid and sufficient personal serious reasons for this enquiry

    im being terrorised with my life being potientally put in danger after handing over information.. an garda siochana are notified and are trying their best to help me along the way

    emigration is an option but i really dont want to leave my family friends and my job


    Ive been in contact with the social welfare keep on ringing them and when i do eventually get through and explain the serious situation that im in they dont seem to take it seriously or probably think that im taking the piss or whatever


    i need advice on what to do i dont know where else to turn

    PS: I have had this thread in other places on boards but mods keep on deleting it saying its not in the appropriate place etc etc.. im not looking for state benefits or money but i cant seem to find the right place to post my query so im hoping they are ok with this ? im really stuck

    Other than going on a witness protection programme, I can't see you getting another number.

    Obtaining a second PPSN number in these circumstances is simply not an option without consultation between the Gardai and the relevant government departments. Inclusion in the witness protection programme is a matter for the Attorney General. You should stay in contact with the Gardai about your situation and work through them.
