Moving Hosting

    Hi

    I have moved the hosting of my site www.bodygroup.ie to Blacknight. I saved down the entire site to my desktop. And then FTP'd it back up to my new hosting with Blacknight.

    Now there is an error showing on the site http://www.bodygroup.ie/index.php

    see 'Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)'


    any ideas whats wrong? cheers

    Sounds like you need to update SQL connection info. Talk to Blacknight support if you need help, but it's in their control panel.

    I'm guessing you also need to back up and restore your old site's SQL database.

    You need to update the MySQL details in your site's configuration.

    NB: You'll also need the database contents, as the other poster noted
