Bit of fun this. Using just two ingredients, what can you make?

I made ice-cream bread the other day. Gorgeous!

2 cups (a pint) of ice cream - I used raspberry ripple
    1/2 cups self raising flour

Let the ice-cream out for about 30 minutes. Beat in the flour til it's all mixed up.
Put it in a greased loaf tin, scoring a line down the middle of the batter
Bang in a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
Check after the 40 minutes with a skewer that it comes out clean. Keep checking every ten minutes after the 40. (mine took an hour)
Leave it sit for 10 minutes
Take it out of the tin and leave to cool on a wire rack

Not too sweet, but lovely with butter!

1 cup of Self raising Flour and 1 cup of Greek Yoghurt.

In a bowl, combine the flour and yoghurt and bring together to form a ball.

Turn out onto a floured board to knead and roll.

Knead for 5-8 minutes. Roll into a pizza shape and add toppings.

*Can also be used to make flat breads.

    Put bread in toaster
Put beans in pot on hob or in bowl in microwave

When both are ready then apply the beans on top of the toast

    and voila

Ice cream bread? What the what? Did you make this up? Is it a dessert? You're blowing my mind here, man...

Also...does ice cream really count as just one ingredient? Most commercial brands have at least ten.

Well, if you made it from home made ice-cream, it wouldn't count. But shop bought is cool!

    Just tried another one.

    No flour pancakes.

    1 Banana
    2 eggs

    Mush the banana
    Beat in 2 eggs
    Fry in butter

Just had it. Delish with Maple Syrup.

Next time I make the ice cream bread, I'll take a photo :)

That actually sounds like a winner.

I'd probably be silly and add a 3rd ingredient like ground almonds or something :P

    Chocolate and water.

The brainchild of Hervé This and based on some solid science (how emulsions are made and stabilised). Look him up if you've never heard of him, he invented the field of molecular gastronomy, and his books are very readable, and he gives a great talk.
