Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Holidays while on Jobseekers benefit

I would like to go for holidays for 3 weeks. I know Im allowed to take just 2 weeks BUT If I miss just 2 Wednesday payments and wouldnt have to prove dates by showing the tickets I could go for 3 weeks actually. Because If I leave on Thursday after the payment and come back on Thursday in 3 weeks I miss just 2 payments (holidays). I just need to know if I have to show them the tickets?? What if I go away by car?
Lets say I have to prove the dates and I will go for 3 weeks regardless and miss one payment, can they stop my benefit??
    Thank you for the answers.

Nice to know that someone on Jobseekers benefit can afford a 3 week holiday, while most people, like myself are working full time and as much more as I can and am still finding it hard to even go have a proper night out!

It is not sunny holidays or whatever you are imagining. Im going to visit my parents to different country and I had this planned ages ago. Unfortunatelly I have got laid off. Dont worry Im not this type of person who would suck on social system. I have always worked and Im activelly looking for job. If I find job tommorow when will they let me take my holidays and for how long? Thats why I take them now...Anyway I dont know why I even explain myself. I just wanted someone to answer my question.

You are trying to abuse the system by taking 3 weeks instead of two which is wrong

It's social welfare fraud to do as you suggest.

It is wrong but I wont get paid for the third week anyway so no damage to the poor system...
