Im riding a cube peloton race 12`at the moment which came with a factory standard Easton EA30 wheelset. Looking to upgrade now after having them for close to a year for something a bit stiffer and lighter. As triathlon is strictly a summer sport in Ireland, I don`t want to invest in a wheelset that will be used just for racing as they may not see more than 7-8 days during the calendar year if that was this was the case. Id like to get something that would be both light enough and durable enough to double up as a good training wheel and also as a race wheel. My budget is 3-400 euros and preferably on the smaller side, i would also consider something on the second hand market. I have been eyeballing the below three, but the titernet machine is giving me mixed reviews on all three of them. Any opinions? Feel free to suggest others...

I have had both Mavic and Campy wheels and neither have given me an ounce of trouble.

have you looked at PlanetX wheels I know they also have mised reviews but do have some good offers at times,

I have not looked at planet x yet, but i will. Reviews from ppl say the mavic were on the heavy side and are really felt when climbing. Did you find this was the case in ur experience?

For day to day cycling weight is important
    For TTs its aero

For < 500 you are NOT going to get a light aero wheel.

they were average weight not the lightest in the world, but they were traditionally bomb proof.
regarding weight I was\am carring more a few pairs around my waist to worry about this,

I'll second the mavic option.....really nice wheels and pretty much bomb proof on Irish roads
