    hi all
i recently booked a stag party in a hotel in the west and while speaking to the lady in the hotel she stated the following
    1. 150euro pp
    2. 200 euro deposit
    3. payment in full on check in and 50 euro security bond for each room.
    4. discount rate
5..she would email the details to me

Now as i said to her that was fine price deposit etc but when i received the email it stated 160 per person and 100 euro security deposit per room so i decided to call her again and she basically said she never said all this to me which she did.

I also checked their web site where it states no deposit required and the rooms are actually cheaper than i was quoted

do the hotel have a right to demand a security deposit from each room where as if i booked on line and said nothing about a stag they would not look for it as there is only 8 of us staying and we are by no means trouble makers

also should i mention to them about the cheaper rate on their website
