Take nothing away from 565 whatever happens. Textbook approach so far and has come a long way this season.

Aer Lingus are gone around! It's Ian Harte in Japan all over again!

Oh and he makes it worse by stating he intends to route to waypoint that doesnt exist anymore...a shocking display of finishing! :P

TAY31W got away in the mean time.

First time on this part of the site, quite interesting. Presumably going by that ustream link and the planefinder app that's EI565 i just heard passing over my house. Either that or the wind :D

Aww good effort 565! When you guys talk about cockpit view, what website or software is that?

Count your lucky pilots nobody's landing here in Waterford tonight. Gusts are unreal ~ 5miles from WAT

During the clearance and readback they had to be reminded that 'straight ahead' is not the same as 'runway heading'. Could you imagine the difference in track on a night like this!

  • Registered Users Posts: 726 ✭✭✭Shamrock231

Looks like 565 wants to go to BHX.

http://www.flightradar24.com/ open this, then click on your flight you want, and then select cockpit view at the bottom of the side bar.

its not very accurate, but it shows alt, direction and airspeed. its pretty need...the plane usually ends up landing on grass with it though.
