Hard not to look past RVP again this week. He is playing at home and Aston Villa have not kept a clean sheet in their last 17 league games.

I do not have RVP. I'm scared.

Think I'm going to gamble on Michu.

I have RVP so have to captain him, but Michu is a great shout.

Looking at last two games shots on goal stats

    Nor A - 9!
    Tot H - 6

I would put him in category of Suarez and Bale when Swans are at home.

Assuming Luke Moore continues front, Michu is in best position facing the goal from deeper and not having to tangle with centre backs all the time. He was up front on his own for a while and one would think this is great for FF but this is not the case!

Furthermore, Southampton play a very open style but are vulnerable at the back.

Some argue that Swansea have their beach wear on, but the second half Vs Spurs says otherwise. Great fight shown (Michu showed great aggression and desire!).

Fair enough the poll will be all about RVP but Michu is a great shout in his own right, and a def IMO for those without RVP.

going to bring in michu this week but leave the armband on rvp. Its nice to have the armband on a player playing in the last game of the weekend aswell especially if some of the obvious captain choices have a nightmare.

RVP all the way. Villa are dreadful at the back. Clark is prone to errors and Lambert was never good at setting up a team defensively.

I can see Villa's young midfield struggling against United's as well.

Earlier in the season, Villa took a 2-0 lead but United easily carved them open to win 3-2 when the pressure was on.

Have rvp but tempted to give michu the armband. Any fears rvp might be rested?

0% not a hope of being rested until title is won.

yeah, i mean, in the midst of Utd's hectic schedule that included FA Cup and CL games, he was still playing nearly all the time.

not a chance RVP is being rested. he's Utd's no.1 striker, and at the moment, by a stretch.

Moreau made an excellent point earlier regarding Michu. His returns are severly affected by the position he is played in.

If you are thinking of captaining Michu, have a look to see if he is playing striker or behind the striker. He is far less of a threat as the main striker.

It's likely Moore will start though due to scoring in the last game.

RVP is the captain of my ship anyway. I don't need to take risks and there isn't that many alternatives. I think Suarez is due a goal this week but Liverpool are just too inconsistent. Decent weekend of football all the same.

Bale passed fit but is he likely to start? Don't want to captain him if there's only a 20 minute subs appearance for him, especially when Michu is looking good.

Going with the old reliable RVP. Hoping Robin runs riot as I've just brought him back in to my team.
