Just spotted that the Lighthouse is showing a movie about The Frames this week, called In The Deep Shade, which happens to be the name of one of my favourite Frames songs (which ironically, Glen Hansard doesnt sing on).

I've always thought they are an incredible live band. Maybe the movie will showcase this.

Movie was on during the festival. It is not exactly a great rockumentary, but it does in fairness capture them live very well.

The frames movie, in the deep shade, is out this week and available for preorder for about €15.

Credit card and paypal both accepted. It's my favourite rock doco ever. If you're a frames fan or someone who has been dying to see them, this film is essential. Not to start a fight but I wish PJ20 was even close to as good as this film is. You can smell the sweat and see the steam coming off the stage. It's shot so well. Get it. You'll be so happy you did.

Got this in the post yesterday. It's kick ass. Wish there was just a gig DVD is the only thing. Sound is incredible. This guy really managed to catch their magic live. Heartily recommend it.
