Making a one time online payment transfer

    Hi,

    I need to transfer money from my personal account to my friends. Can I make a one time transfer using online banking or does it need to be set up as a payee?

    Hi shuffles03,

    You cannot make a one time transfer on Banking 365; you would need to add them as a payee. You could do this if your mobile if registered to receive activation codes and delete it again once the transfer is made if you wish.

    Another option is if your friend is a Bank of Ireland customer and is registered for the Pay to Mobile option you could make the transfer through that method. Please note there is a daily transfer limit of €100 per day.
